For Hunza Valley alone, a sedan (Toyota Corolla G or Premio) is sufficient. Whe Karakoram Highway and main Hunza roads are paved. Choose a 4x4 SUV only if you plan to access Khunjerab Pass, Naltar Valley, or Hopper Glacier off-road sections.

Are Skardu roads suitable for automatic transmission vehicles?

Yes, all our sedans and SUVs are automatic transmission and handle Skardu's mountain roads well. Our experienced drivers know which gears and routes to use. You as a passenger don't need to worry about transmission type.

Can a first-time mountain driver handle Skardu roads alone?

Strongly not recommended. Skardu's mountain roads include narrow passes, blind curves, landslide-prone sections, and high-altitude routes that experienced local drivers navigate carefully.
